When it comes to raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, the only limit is your imagination. People throughout the nation have created some incredible ideas. Some are appropriate for our national office, while others are perfectly suited for their local chapters.
Kids For Wish Kids® is an extremely popular program for kids because it is managed by kids like you. As kids, you are responsible for forming committees, coming up with fundraising ideas, and carrying them out. Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the group belongs solely to you and the other kids involved.
Here’s your chance to have tons of fun by helping to make dreams come true for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. As a Wishmakers on Campus volunteer, you can partner with your local Make-A-Wish® chapter and coordinate a fundraiser at your school to help sponsor wishes for wish kids in your community.
Events are organized by outside parties to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York and Western New York. Event sponsors vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups and just about anyone who has a great idea for a fundraiser. Some of the unique and special community events that have been organized include golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments and silent auctions.
