Congratulations to the Western New York Community on Another Year of Supporting Wishes!
First and foremost, we want to say, thank you! Thank you to all who attended, donated, sponsored and volunteered at our Power of a Wish Galas in Buffalo and Rochester. Because of you, we raised a combined total of over $501,000 to grant life-changing wishes for children in our communities!
It means so much that so many joined us to celebrate 25 years of wishes in Western New York, and to support our mission of reaching every eligible child.
The funds raised will go directly towards helping children with critical illnesses replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. It will give them a different form of treatment to help them heal and give them an edge in conquering their illness.
This year’s galas looked back on the transformational wishes granted throughout the years in Buffalo and Rochester and how they still touch the lives of our wish alum to this day. They also featured the amazing and inspirational story of keynote wish alum, Anderson, whose wish acted as a catalyst to learning how to love himself, and towards figuring out who he wants to be.
The Rochester Power of a Wish Gala was hosted by Mike Catalana, Sports Director of WHAM-13 and honored the Greater Rochester Area Honda Dealers. In Buffalo, we celebrated 25 years of wishes in Western New York, hosted by Brian Duff, Broadcast Host for the Buffalo Sabres, and Lauren Hall, multimedia journalist for Pegula Sports and Entertainment. Special thanks to both our Buffalo and Rochester sponsors who made the events possible.

On behalf of all the children and families we serve, THANK YOU. It is because of generous supporters like you that we are able to transform lives, one wish at a time.
