March is National Social Work Month and, with that, we salute our social work partners who include the healing power of a wish as part of overall patient care.
Christine Kraft, LMSW, a nephrology social worker at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo has been an outstanding community partner to us, acting as a patient advocate and providing resources for families undergoing critical illnesses. She is a top referral source to Make-A-Wish, and has witnessed how Make-A-Wish has a positive impact on those diagnosed with kidney disease.
Thank you, Christine and all of our loving social workers, who give so much of their heart to families in need.
